This submission details the exploration of a single material, stainless steel. It tracks the route that The Matrix has traveled with this material in the last ten years: from the conceptualization, to the production of documentation and the realization of a variety of objects.

Zambia maybe one of the nation experiencing peaceful conditions but it still needs good judicial system institutions which faces many challenges as these inhibit the efficient and effective delivery of justice to its citizens. Hence, this project responds to the very problem by designing of a new ultra-modern judicial facility.

The ECREEE’s headquarters was projected to provide a comfortable space for the workers with flexibility of use, able to be adapted to the future changes, and a model in terms of renewable energy and energy efficiency adapted to the national climate and using the local raw materials.

The architecture is simple, raw and flexible, and it talks with the other houses and the small buildings all around The structure is composed by 13 wooden container sized rooms, set in a beton brut structure and painted with lime putty.
