Organic and handmade, the lodge blends perfectly with its surroundings, becoming one with the Delta itself. The Lodge promotes conservation and eco-tourism through sustainable design premise, respecting the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Over one year, we followed this process as architects with our camera by trying to capture colours, sounds, smells, techniques and local materials, textures and testimonies. The architectural design was a part of a process involving the participation of the community, since the concept to the conclusion of the project.

This documentary was made during the course of the construction of 5 Informal Schooling Pavilions in Guinea-Bissau during the year of 2016, throughout the territory. Our aim was to record the process of the works, as well as the beautiful and interesting spatial context where they were built.

Nestled in the heart of Sandton, the design was driven by the client’s desire to create a space that was reflective of the evolution of their relationship, an amalgamation of diverse interests and passions. The layout consists of three barns placed rhythmically over the site celebrating the existing established trees.

The "PINK BOX" Exhibition is an Architecture installation. The main objective is to draw attention to one problem in Luanda, the urban waste. Civic awareness is oriented towards the improbable relationship between trash and beauty, awakening the citizen's eye to "garbage that is not garbage" and "trash can be beautiful".

The project is to create a conducive place to learn, play and live for Kenyan orphans. The Children's Eco-Village design inspired by Kenyan Maasai architecture emphasizing on the community, robust in-between spaces and use of local materials. The design reinvents traditional form for a large institutional and housing facilities.

The main idea was to create a lightweight, off the grid, and affordable house. The design philosophy relates to critical regionalism within architectural theory. The South-Africa residential design market is still stuck with conventional building methods that aren’t suitable for our environment (colonial building methods).

Nestled between beautiful trees and lush vegetation of Northern Namibia, one will find Nakayale Private Academy. The school opened its doors in January 2016 with 60 students, all receiving free tuition and boarding on 50 hectares land donated to the Dirk Mudge Trust by the Western Diocese of ELCIN.
