The project of the S. João dos Cavaleiros Inn, was developed in basaltic stone wall to house the negative-built spaces and the cover transformed into a dry tropical garden. Minimizing the presence of the building before the neighborhood and not interfering with the visual relation whith the sea.

The Sapiens Building answers its program and a challenging situation. Its polyhedral abstraction guarantees formal consistency and the galleries dramatize light and shadow, allowing the views, delivering an elegant vibration and denouncing the rationalization of the educational program. It is intense in its presence and generous in its public delivery.

Book published under the scope of the research project: “EWV_Exchanging Worlds Visions: modern architecture in Lusophone Africa (1943-1974) looking through Brazilian experience established since the 1930s”, funded by FCT (PTDC/AUR-AQUI/103229/2008) and scientifically coordinated by Prof. Ana Tostões (Chair of Docomomo International, Full Professor at Técnico – Lisbon University).

Hedzranawe Clinic is a proposal of Healthcare in Lome that won the 1st Prize in Workshop organised by EAMAU. The Project is a safe environment for patients, medical team, visitor and workers. Relaxation, well-being and social gathering are highlights for the community.

The concept of Patio Building is a necessity of response for a High Density Social Housing, from an analysis and interpretation of Luanda Slums Habitat, characterized by strong social life outside the house, in courtyards and alleyways, generating important neighborhood relationship as an extended family.

The library as an idea is conceptualized as a living room for the community where people meet and learn from each other, relax and also get connected to the world by ease access of information. It provides diverse spaces where people are able to network, chat and even have coffee.

Bamboo House Completed : 2012 Location : Illashe, Lagos. Our vision for this beach house was rooted in its context and the experimentation of locally sourced materials, to design a modern building that would be reflective of our culture, acknowledges modernity, contemporary design,and belongs to the locality.
