The first library of Muyinga is part of a future inclusive school for deaf children. The challenge of limited resources became an opportunity to respect a short supply-chain of building materials and labor force, supporting local economy, and installing pride in a construction with the poor people’s material: earth.

The preschool of Aknaibich is only one classroom, nevertheless a holistic design, incorporating community dynamics, and a new vernacular style. Facing a contrasted context in a suburban environment split between two construction eras, the building is implemented as extension of an existing school in the modern part of the agglomeration.

The goal was to create a mixed-use, flexible, functional, robust and sustainable environment highlighting the key principles of GE, industrial innovation and African collaboration. As such the Fit-out through the use of the Customer Experience centre, healthcare experience, and training and development centre showcases and teaches users about GE’S technology.

The Grain Silo Complex will house a not-for-profit public institution, Zeitz MOCCA, which will commemorate humanity and its history while providing a metaphor for remembering the contemporary moment. The museum will attract people from around the world and is to open its doors in September 2017.

Integrated sustainable design. Simple geometric spaces with massive rammed earth walls, evaporative cooling, passive ventilation, natural sewerage system, off grid electricity, water independant. Deriving energy from the sun, water from the river, humanity from its materials and open vista, and providing nutrients to the environment by bio processing its wastes.

HoAREC is one of the three main buildings that was designed as part of the Gullele Botanic Garden international design Competition.

Rammed Earth house and work place, featuring rain water harvesting, thick thermally efficient walls, built entirely from site earth. The thick high earth walls with an inward sloping roof designed to capture maximum water, as well as create shading in the hot summers, creating stable temperatures throughout the year.

Anwa is a primary school that serves just under 400 children from Kibera, one of the largest informal settlements in Nairobi, Kenya. The project was developed through a participatory design and construction process that merged local experience with the architectural craft of design and making.

The Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital is situated in the sprawling suburban landscape of Coronationville, an Apartheid neighbourhood laid out to house Johannesburg's mixed race inhabitants. The extension is for the Empilweni Services and Research Unit (ESRU), a paediatric research unit embedded in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand, leading the partnership with the University and the Department of Health at the hospital.
